Windrush Reception at Parliament

Our senior prefects had an inspiring visit to the Houses of Parliament to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Windrush day. We were invited by Helen Hayes MP to a reception in the Jubilee Room where we heard inspiring speeches and poetry from members of the Windrush generation and younger generations too. Our girls were invited to speak as well, sharing their hopes for the future. "My hope is for a future where everyone can achieve the success they deserve'' said Sharnikae Ennis Y10.
