STEM Energy Quest

Back to Latest News

Our Year 7 and Year 9 students had the opportunity to participate in a STEM Shell Energy Quest workshop. They were given a challenge which involved building a circuit to charge a mobile phone, and then build a filtering system and shelter - all with everyday items found in a school bag! There were many creative variations of the charger, the filtering system, and the shelter designs which demonstrated excellent problem solving skills and creativity! A great time was had by all, and hopefully some of our students will go on to consider being an Engineer in the future!

Energy Quest is an in-school workshop programme for 11-14 year old students funded by Shell and delivered by EngineeringUK.
